When I read this (NYT) article about how plants are really clever because they react to attacks from caterpillars by producing cyanide, and “talk” through chemical signals, I don’t think that we shouldn’t eat them because they have feelings, I think we should harness their power for good before somebody invents a mad genetically modified plant that will eventually enslave...
